This ocean view cottage offers both luxury and comfort. The cottage features two master bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom.
The first bedroom, named after the Sand Piper, has decor reflecting the beach and various seashells of Cabretta and Nannygoat beaches. The Sand Piper's nest has a king size bed and is elegantly decorated in sea green and white.
The second bedroom, The sailors quarters is decorated in a casual style but with all the luxurious amenities. A pillow top queen size bed, relaxed furnishings, and a soaking bath tub ensure that the birdwatcher can relax after a day of searching the island for rare birds. Each bed & bath has 400+ count cotton sheets, fluffy towels and all the upscale amenities.
The large family room is perfect for gathering to enjoy a movie on the flat screen TV, playing cards or sharing memories of the day. Next to the family room is a fully equipped kitchen ready for you to prepare a simple delicious meal or a gourmet dinner to impress your cottage mates.
Bring along a copy of your favorite cookbook or purchase the Georgia Barrier Island Cookbook by Doc Bill, Yvonne Grovner and the late Cornelia Bailey. It features local dishes for you to choose your favorite recipe. You can arrange to have food delivered or bring your cooler filled with your favorite treats.
A collection of birdhouses are featured in this cottage. They range from traditional to fun and funky! Drink your morning coffee on Pelican Porch while you watch the day come alive over the ocean. Or as we say on Sapelo, "Day Clean" is right outside your window.
On Pelican Porch, a twin sized bed loaded with down feather pillows will be your favorite spot for reading, listening to music or watching a flock of Ibis graze along the marsh edge.
A golf cart is included in your rental and ready for you to head to the beach!
Rates: $385/night (min. 2 night stay) $2600/week rates do not include 7% state & local taxes or 5% hotel/motel tax, ( total taxes 12% which includes both state and hotel/motel taxes) cleaning fee ($125) and damage waiver.
One dog is allowed - pet fee is $100
