The Sapelo Red Pea project involves the community of Hogg hammock on Sapelo island , local and famous chiefs , SICARS, Sapelo Island birdhouses and Georgia Coastal Gourmet Farms. Local people on the island and surrounding areas can grow these local peas to help make money and improve their community.
